How long is the course?

Our defensive driving course meets the New York time requirement of 6 hours, but the total course time is 5 ½ hours, with 30 minutes allowed for breaks. The good news is that our course saves your progress as you go, which allows you to complete it at your own pace. You can log in and out as many times as you need without ever losing your progress.

Will I save more if members of my family take the course?

To maximize your savings, all family members who are a principal driver of a vehicle on the insurance policy can take the course. Each driver will receive a 10% discount on the base premium of their auto insurance policy. Please note that the discount can be applied to only one driver for each covered vehicle.
